It’s that special time of the year again where you can enjoy Grand Nationals Weekend on the beautiful Peoria Riverfront in Peoria, IL!
The Grand Nationals Weekend 2018 Kick Off Party takes place on Friday August 17th and Saturday August 18th, 2018. This year you can see a wide range of bands over the course of these two days. Of course, the music is always great for this kick off party but the racing and other events are also just as much fun.
So here is a short outline of the events that you will want to make sure that you are marking your calendars for!
Friday night brings to town one of my personal favorite acts JJ Grey & Mofro. If you don’t know who they are, then you should definitely take some time to check them out.
In addition to JJ Grey & Mofro, Friday night also brings Blackberry Smoke, Joe Stamm Band, and Thomas Wynn & the Believers!
Saturday you can head on over to the PMC Race Park for the 72nd American Flat Track Grand National Championship Peoria TT Race. After the race, enjoy the Grand Nationals Party on the Riverfront at Peoria Riverfront Park. This years’ performers include A Live from Las Vegas Country Artists Tribute Show featuring tributes to Eric Church, Tim McGraw, and Kenny Chesney. In addition to the tribute shows you can check out the Matt Miller Band and Wolf & Gypsy Band.
