When I saw that they will be gracing us with their presence, I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Their music is nostalgic for many and timeless for all. Having released 18 studio albums, 6 live albums, and 7 compilation albums since 1968 there is a solid chance you’ve had at least one of their 29 singles stuck in your head. I can recall listening to Steve Miller Band on the radio as a young child riding in the back of my parents car on family outings. As I reached adulthood I’d beg my friend to put in the only good album he had in his car while he drove us to work. Now-a-days I find myself going one deeper and throwing on an old vinyl and listening to their music the way the rock gods intended. There is something special or enlightening when seeing a band of this magnitude perform live. I fear the day when I no longer get to see shows performed by classics like Steve Miller Band. The feel good vibe their music puts you through is something I highly look forward to this Memorial Day weekend. I hope to be singing along with all you happy campers soon! ]]>
