These guys have been a staple at SCamp for some time and Karl Denson himself has guested with many other great musicians over the years.
If you haven’t heard the crazy bass grooves of these guys then you have seriously been missing out! Here is a funky jam of them with Victor Wooten from SCamp 2013!

Last year this was my favorite new surprise find. Funky all the way to the core, this Colorado founded outfit will keep you dancing all night long!
This Funky rooted group with Soul and Rock influences from Bloomington, Indiana is sure to please your groove meter!
5. Here Come The Mummies
Yes this is a funky smelling funk machine full of mummy wrapped undead! You can’t go wrong!

I saw these guys play the camping stage last year and was treated to some of the funkiest chillax music I heard all weekend.
The roots of funk come from soul music and The Nth Power will surely make the perfect set to bring your lady to. Slow it down a bit and groove your night away!
He is a bass legend! Need I say more? He is one of my favorites!
If you haven’t heard Janis Wallin’s funky bass licks from this SCamp staple band then you have been missing out!
I am very excited to check out Turkuaz! Very strong crew of funky all stars with mad energy coming from an amazing gang!
This up and coming soul infused funky jazzgasm band are now on my radar, and yours too! Love that bootay!
This New Orleans based group will surely be funking up a SCamper you near you soon!
Quite honestly Brainchild is another staple under card
that know how the bring the funk when needed! They have jazzy soul infused side as well!

15. moe. & Umphrey’s McGee
Technically two bands I know, but we all should know that both of our favorite headliners know how to turn on the funk!
