Andy Frasco and The U.N.‘ s energetic blast of a set always blends companionship, performance, and a party. The eight-piece band from L.A. has quickly become SCamp favorites. From breaking in at the smaller stages in 2016 to taking command of Starshine in 2021 as part of Andy’s fifth appearance, it has been great to witness and experience that growth here in the middle of the map… at this place called Three Sisters Park. Back in 2017, I was fortunate to shoot a quick promo video at The Canopy Club before his sophomore appearance.
Directly after the Sunday night, Three 6 Mafia set, both high off of hip-hop nostalgia, I caught up with Andy Frasco backstage for another interview. He teases a new album coming in early 2022 and what it was like to create a COVID-inspired project. Discloses some thoughts about working together with Nicholas Gerlach on his World Saving Podcast. Then finally, sharing his NBA Finals picks for this season (Not looking too hot Andrew). Watch the video below:
