S’camp 2013 was particularly awesome because of my green team experience. I got my friend from Istanbul, Turkey and my brother to join the team with me. I spotted all tickets and ended up paying under $50 for all three of us. One night, we showed up early for Big Gigantic’s throw-down. We were right up against the railing. Sometime during the show I felt like this was the best part of Summer Camp 2013. Turns out the next day my volunteer shift was located where the artists eat lunch. I spoke with Jeremy from Big Gigantic and told him how much I enjoyed the show. Him and Dominic Lalli, the saxophone player, were so down-to-earth and appreciative of my opinion. So yeah, during the rain I was working inside speaking with my favorite men at S’camp. My brother and Turkish friend had a blast for free at their first Summer Camp Music Festival. I recommend volunteering at this festival. It’s an easy individual task, but the team creates a positive difference on the environment at Three Sisters Park, our temporary party grounds!
