The Twin Cats
Through their blend of Funk, Progressive Rock, Electronica, and Jazz Fusion, The Twin Cats are quickly becoming one of the hottest touring acts in the Midwest and beyond. The band is best known for an exciting and unique style they have aptly dubbed “Face Melting Funk” combined with their world class light show. They have been cultivating their signature sound at festivals around the region like Summer Camp, 10KLF, Rootwire, The Werk Out, and Headjamz in recent years and are looking to expand their reach this year.
The Twin Cats were the hardest working band during the 2012 Super Bowl week in Indianapolis as they appeared every day as the house band on the ESPN show “SportsNation” as well as being chosen to play in Super Bowl Village on Super Bowl Eve. This national exposure gained them new fans across the country with more and more people getting hooked on the face melting funk every day. The events of Super Bowl week, along with their recent tour as support for Umphrey’s McGee, are the highlights so far of what could be a breakout year for this band on the rise.
