Here is some more info on the Blue Team from Online Blue Team Captain Jon Perri.

Hey Summer Camp. I’m Jon and I originally hail from the Ocean State, but now reside in the City by the Bay – San Francisco. I’m here to help organize Blue Team on the interwebs and prepare us to continue kicking ass at SCAMP 2012.

What to say about team blue… Well, just look at all the awesome stuff that is blue. The sky. The ocean. Jeans. Racquet Balls. Glaciers. Blueberries. Monica Lewinski’s dress. The Queen’s Hat. I could go on, but you get the point – blue is more than awesome – we’re the same color as water – and that shit covers 95% of the planet.

In short, we want you for the Blue Team! More importantly, you want to be on Blue Team. We dominated in 2011 and we’ll dominate in 2012. Why? Basically, Blue Team is like the Special Ops, the Navy Seals if you will, of Summer Camp.

Blue Team members have been training extensively in the off season. Training camps in Boulder, Chicago, Boston, Moscow, Hong Kong, and Sydney have been in full operation since our operatives returned home from SCAMP.* Our intelligence and surveillance teams have confirmed that the other teams lack discipline – they’re weak sauce and we’re hot like sauce. We’ll rule in tug of war, bocce, and most of all, in kick ball. But don’t be fooled by our brawn. Blue Team is not just about the brute strength that we clearly possess – we plan to dominate in trivia and the spelling bee as well. Did you say baccalaureate? Psssh, we can spell that on psychedelics. Any more brain busters?

I want to put together the most epic team to ever grace the muddy fields of Summer Camp. A team that will go down in Summer Camp history. You’ll tell your grandchildren about this and they’ll be all like, “we already read about this in history class grandpa…”.
