2013 Summer Camp Bandana Design Contest

2013 Summer Camp Bandana Design Contest

http://www.crowdtogether.com/scamp13-bandana-contest

If you’ve ever been to Summer Camp, you know bandanas are an essential accessory. The contest went so well in 2012, we are excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions for the official 2013 Summer Camp Bandana! Bandanas will be printed in all of our Field Day colors, so they must be a single color design (black and white, red and white, blue and white, purple and white, or yellow and white). Designs can have no gradient or shading, and must all be original artwork. You don’t have to use our official logo, or include the dates/year of the fest, but you MUST include either “Summer Camp” or “Summer Camp Music Festival” somewhere on the piece. Other than that, creativity is encouraged, so design away!

All designs must be submitted by 11:59pm CDT on April 10th. Then, fans will have an additional 3 weeks to vote for their favorites. The top 3 designs on May 6th at noon CDT will all be named winners and each receive two 3-day passes to the 2013 Summer Camp Music Festival.

From the top 3 designs, the Summer Camp Music Festival organizers will choose which design will be printed & sold as the Official 2013 Bandana, and THAT designer will receive 2 Super Deluxe VIP upgrades and 10 of their printed bandanas, on top of the two 3-day passes! Keep in mind, fans will be able to vote on your design as soon as you post it on the contest page, so there is definitely an advantage to posting your design(s) early!
Entries that do not follow the rules will not be considered, and may be eliminated from the entries by the Contest Director at their discretion.

For questions about the contest, please email contests@jaytv.com.

So for all of you designers out there, start working on your entries now & make sure to get them in before April 10! Good luck!!

Camp Counselor Submission Deadline Extended to March 15!

Hey Campers,

We are extending the deadline for accepting applications for our 2013 Summer Camp Counselor position to March 15! If you think you’re a perfect fit for the Camp Counselor position, and you are ready to have a once in a lifetime Summer Camp experience, here’s how to apply:

1. Email a written resume outlining your experience and qualifications to holly@jaytv.com by March 15th, 2013. Please include in your email a link to a video cover letter that addresses why you want to be this year’s Camp Counselor and what you can bring to the table (submissions without videos will not be counted). Keep in mind; this is not your typical job, so your resume can include ANYTHING that helps to prove you’re the right fit. Festivals you’re attending, tours you’ve been on…the more creative you are, the better!

2. We will review the applicants, and select the top candidates. The selected candidates will then be asked to put together a separate 2-3 minute video for fans to: introduce themselves, discuss why they are perfect for this position, and tell fans what they plan to offer the Summer Camp community as a whole with this new power and role. These videos will be posted on YouTube and put together in a playlist on the Summer Camp channel.

3. The candidates will then randomly go head to head and the winner will move on to the next round. Once the top 3 names have been selected, they will be added to our “ballot” and emailed out to fans to vote on. The candidate with the most votes will be named the 2013 Summer Camp Counselor!

So if you are fun, oozing with personality and charisma, and think you have what it takes, submit your application now. ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY MARCH 15, 2013!! For any questions about the position, please email holly@jaytv.com. To learn more about the role and meet our past Camp Counselors and CITs, check out the Community section of the web site!

See you all soon!

Your Summer Camp Director
